Lifestyle medicine
Lifestyle Medicine focuses on preventing and treating chronic disease through evidence-based lifestyle changes.
It is built around six core pillars: sleep, diet, physical activity, stress management, positive social connections, and avoidance of risky substances. These areas are among some the most important modifiable factors shaping our health and well-being.
My clinical focus is sleep disorders. Sleep has a direct impact on energy, concentration, mood, and overall quality of life.
A consultation may be helpful for:
- difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early
- snoring or suspected sleep apnea
- excessive daytime sleepiness
- non-restorative sleep
- lifestyle evaluation and optimization
During the consultation, I take detailed and comprehesnive medical history focused on your health and day-to-day functioning, so we can better understand what may be causing your symptoms and decide on the next steps. Depending on the case, treatment plan may include lifestyle changes, cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), medication, further evaluation and testing or referral to another specialist. Follow-up visits are used to review progress and adjust the approach as needed.
The consultation does not replace urgent medical care.
